Our key priority: disability
Including people with different abilities is a key priority for us. We want to overcome physical and mental barriers and push cultural understanding and awareness of visible and invisible disabilities, ensuring inclusion in the workplace.
Our objectives are to:
• make our products more accessible to people with disabilities
• raise awareness and accommodate different abilities
• drive innovation through the inclusion of different abilities and skills
In 2018, Disability Matters Europe recognized Barilla with the STEP-TO-SUCCESS AWARD. This award serves as a significant recognition of our commitment and perseverance in the areas of inclusion and accessibility related to individuals with disabilities.
A project on innovation and social inclusion aimed at designing and developing inclusive products and packaging, innovative and low-cost kitchen tools for better accessibility and autonomy.
The Valuable 500
We confirm our ongoing commitment to disability inclusion being part of The 500Valuable, a global movement whose aim is to engage companies and corporations to put disability on their business leadership agenda.
