"LEARN TO FLY" AND "AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP" PROGRAMS
“Learn to Fly” Leadership Development program has been awarded* Gold in “Talent Management – Best Advance in Employee Engagement” by the Brandon Hall Group, and “Authentic Leadership” won a Silver award for Best Results of a learning program in the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers.
Learn to Fly and Authentic Leadership lay the foundation for developing Barilla’s future leaders, providing the essential competences and attitude to thrive as a professional and as a person.
LEARN TO FLY: GOLD IN TALENT MANAGEMENT – BEST ADVANCE IN EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT - BRANDON HALL GROUP
The Learn to Fly program was created back in 2017 under the sponsorship of the Leadership Board, with the purpose to equip new Barilla employees all over the world with solid management skills and to prepare them to become the leaders of the future.
To achieve these objectives, together with our long-term partner Cegos, we developed and delivered four learning activities: Time Management, Smart Communication, Problem Solving and Decision Making and Presentation Advantage.
Supported by all local HR Business Partners, these programs have been delivered in all Barilla offices with more than one thousand participants, reaching more than 90% of the target population.
AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP: SILVER IN BEST RESULTS OF A LEARNING PROGRAM - STEVIE® AWARDS FOR GREAT EMPLOYERS
Our second awarded program, “Authentic Leadership”, was designed with Oxford-Group in 2014, and has the core business competency - “BE AUTHENTIC” - at its heart. The aim of this program has been since the beginning to create an environment of diversity and inclusion where everyone feels encouraged and empowered to be themselves.
*The entries were evaluated by an international panel of independent industry experts, Brandon Hall Group senior analysts and our executive leadership team. The judging was based on the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, inn
