Ilaria Lodigiani appointed new Chief Marketing Officer of Barilla Group

Parma, April 3rd, 2023 – Barilla announces that, from April 3, 2023, Ilaria Lodigiani will be assuming the role of Chief Marketing Officer.
Former Vice-President of Global Marketing for the Barilla brand, Lodigiani will lead marketing strategies and business development in a data driven world. She is going to focus on brand management and product improvement with the objective to satisfy the consumers’ needs in an evolving environment. Her aim will be to continue to offer people “the joy of food, for a better life”, as per the current statement of the Group’s purpose.

Ilaria Lodigiani – a graduate in Economics from the University of Pavia – has gained extensive experience in around 20 years in the Food & Beverage industry and beyond. From 2004 to 2009, she worked at Heineken Italia, holding various positions within the organization and eventually becoming Senior Brand Manager. Subsequently, she worked at Ferrero Soremartec and Vodafone Italy, before joining Microsoft Italy in 2014 as Lumia Marketing Director. In 2016, she moved to Amsterdam and returned to Heineken, taking on the role of Head of Heineken Global Innovation. From 2018, she served as Global Senior Director, Low & No Alcohol Beverages, where she managed the global development of a category that continues to drive revenue growth in the beer industry.
In 2021, Ilaria Lodigiani joined Barilla as Vice President of Global Marketing for the Barilla brand, a position that has enabled her to lead Barilla’s global growth, by developing the brand’s personality and visual identity, and by managing the agenda of global innovation.
