I have to say that my career in Barilla did not start because of random events, rather, it was the outcome of a very well thought plan.
When I completed my studies and I started looking for my first job, I had a very clear goal in my mind: Developing a solid sales and marketing background, being eager to follow a steep learning curve in the process, and always hungry for new challenges and changes. For that reason, I joined the Future Leaders program in Barilla Germany, working initially in Sales Field and then developed to Key Account Management. That was an important kick off in my career as it exposed me to the world of customer management and negotiations.
2 years after, I moved to Trade Marketing, managing for the first time a team, before moving to the Headquarters in Italy where I joined the International Key Account Management team for 3 years. After completing my assignment in Italy, I moved back to Germany, in National Key Account Management and Trade & Category Management before moving to Switzerland as Managing Director.
Needless to say that this exciting path gave me the opportunity to learn a lot, not only professionally, but also, about Barilla as a company and as a place I want to be part of. It is through my path that I realized how true the spirit of Barilla is. Not just a great brand, but also a company where you can find the true spirit of a family.
I am very happy that I belong in this family, where I can grow constantly, experiencing different things and feeling myself. If there are 2 things that describe the environment in Barilla are openness and team spirit. If you are open minded, results driven and passionate, Barilla can be a place of endless opportunities!
