I began my journey at the Barilla Group in 2009, working in the Novara bakery plant as Quality and Technology Manager. Immediately after graduating in Food Science and Technology, I worked in food quality and safety, but I was eager and curious to learn more about the technology, and joining Barilla gave me the opportunity to do so.
I was involved in quality and technology for about ten years, during which I was able to develop a gradual but keen interest in human resources. I therefore decided to broaden my knowledge and train in this new area, with the company’s encouragement.
In 2018, I became HR Manager of Novara plant and Galliate Mill, making use of the organizational knowledge and experience I had gained over the years. Since the end of 2021, I have held the important position of Novara Plant Director. What fascinates me about this new role is the opportunity it provides to really see the results of the decisions taken and, above all, to know that these results are achievedthanks to teamwork: in fact, the plant’s goals are achieved not by the individual but by the team as a whole.
I have had some challenging role changes at the company, which have brought me a great deal of satisfaction and encouraged me in terms of motivation.
For me, Barilla is therefore a company that considers human resources as a whole and offers opportunities for continuous learning!
