I joined Barilla Group in 2012, which seems a long time ago, but the truth is that there is so much to learn in such a stimulating environment, that time seems to fly by very fast. My path has been always inside Marketing, covering different roles across innovation and business, on global and local brands. It has been a path full of challenges and learning opportunities with one common denominator however; the passion for what I do! This is what motivates me every day, the feeling that my job can make people’s life more joyful and a belief that we can make a difference as a company.
Barilla is a very special place to me. It is family in every sense of the word and you can breathe it in every single choice we make. There is a unique sense of belonging that is a burst of energy. People here are part of something important. There is a level of respect that goes beyond professional competence, which of course is huge!
Even if you are junior, you can have opportunities to discuss your ideas and projects with the top management. This is an incredible exposure and motivational boost, because you feel listened to and considered for what you bring to the Company, regardless of your seniority level. I remember that in the first few months of my experience here, I was supporting my manager in an important Global Digital project; in that occasion, I took part to all the meetings with the top management and stakeholders. This was a very valuable experience, seeing “things” really happening around me, listening to people with incredible experience sharing their views. Super insightful for a very young professional!
