Since my first day at Barilla, I’ve noticed something special in the people and in the values the company transmits both internally and externally: a healthy, collaborative and stimulating environment that challenges you to grow!
My journey started in November 2016 as a sales representative with basic knowledge of the commercial sector. Commitment, determination, perseverance, and the support of my colleagues and manager have enabled me to improve my skills on a daily basis, making me appreciate this job all the more. I’ve managed to gain the trust of our customers and to deploy and implement our commercial and marketing strategies.
To start with, I was based in Genoa, where I was given the opportunity to manage local customers. Three years later, I was delighted to join a customer project team for clients such as Carrefour, at the Barilla headquarters in Parma, where my focus was to rejuvenate the pasta category and the shopping experience. Based on this project, new principles were developed to approach the category, and in parallel this exposed me to new experiences. Once the project was completed, I returned to Sales, but this time with more responsibility and focus on new methods and tools to work more efficiently, including the opportunity to directly manage a major customer in Piedmont.
I’m looking forward to carrying on learning and improving my skills, to prepare me for the next chapter in my sales career at Barilla.
