When I joined Barilla in 2014, I couldn’t imagine what an amazing journey I would be embarking on into the beautiful world of pasta! For the last few years, I’ve had the immense pleasure of working at a company that proudly does business in a unique way: and I’m incredibly happy to be a part of this remarkable family organization.
Having studied Business Administration at Athens University of Economics & Business, my dream was to become part of a leading company, with a vision that could match my ambition for growth and advancement. Having worked for a few years in other multinational environments, both in their sales and marketing departments, I joined Barilla Hellas as a Trade Marketing Professional. Three years later, I moved to Consumer Marketing to work on what I enjoy most: bringing value and joy to consumers through high-quality brands and products.
Starting with the bakery brands for a short period, I quickly became responsible for the Barilla brand in the Greek market as a Brand Manager, adapting global strategies and priorities to the highly competitive local market. One of the most remarkable aspects of my journey within the Barilla brand has been the implementation of the “Masters of Pasta” campaign, which gave a huge boost to the brand, by rejuvenating the bonding of Greek consumers with this iconic global pasta brand.
In late 2018, I was fortunate enough to be promoted again, this time stepping into a new role that presented fresh challenges and opportunities for personal and professional development, as a Marketing Manager of our historic local brand MISKO. The constant evolution of my responsibilities and the huge heritage of the #1 Greek pasta brand and one of the most historic FMCG brands in the local market has kept me engaged and driven to perform at my best.
Plus, the company culture and the people I work with have played a significant role in my career path. Mostly, the support within the team that creates a positive and collaborative work environment lead us to obtain excellent results and significant achievements.
Now I'm thrilled to step into a new challenge, taking over the role of Marketing Manager for the Greek Market, SEE and Greece Exports. My passion for strategic growth and innovative campaigns drives my excitement to lead this dynamic team and propel our brands to new heights.
Working at a company that has grown a diversity and inclusion mentality has also given me an even deeper sense of commitment. I’m proud to have been the first co-leader of the local ERG (Employee Resource Group) “Armonia” for more than two years, a group of employees with a vision of doing things voluntarily, to encourage an even more inclusive corporate culture.
I’m grateful for this long journey filled with happiness, passion for excellence and great results. I eagerly look forward to what the future holds and the new opportunities that lie ahead!
