Hi! My name is Daniela Riniker and I just completed my 14th year at Barilla in Chicago. In my current role on the Global Marketing team I get to focus my efforts on our innovation work and I am very excited about what Barilla’s future holds!
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in 7 different Marketing positions at Barilla – primarily on either the Pasta brand team or the Innovation team; most of them local and 2 of them global roles.
In my experience, Barilla is a company that truly SEES its employees and is committed to creating an inspiring, challenging and life-giving work environment. In my case, this has meant exposing me to and challenging me with a wide range of responsibilities, teams and business needs – and I can genuinely say that I have grown from each of them, as a professional and as a person.
But, beyond my various roles within the Marketing organization, Barilla has allowed me the incredible opportunity to customize my schedule in a way that facilitates a stronger home life for my family and I – while still delivering strong results for the organization.
A few years ago, Barilla responded to my desire for a bit more time with my family (specifically my two young sons) by modifying my schedule to part-time (80%) and by allowing me the flexibility to work from home at times. I am extremely grateful to Barilla and remain very committed to continuously making this flexible work arrangement a ‘WIN-WIN’ for all.
