Barilla works to implement forms of preventive stakeholders involvement in defining the key elements of its sustainability policy (as for this report), in order to identify its stakeholders in relation to criteria of representativeness and relevance, to establish a communication channel based on the enhancement of their suggestions and their directions, to improve the design of programs and initiatives, to have them as partners to achieve objectives that the company could not achieve alone.
Our effort is to move from dialogue with stakeholders to their actual and effective involvement.
We are aware that without their contribution there can’t be sustainability.
The last Stakeholder Panel, one of the distinctive elements of the sustainability model of Barilla, was held on November 15, 2012 in Parma, in its fourth edition.
